Type 704 arty locating radar is a counter-battery radar developed in China。
The Type 704 is an I/J-band radar operating in the 8 to 20 GHz range used for weapon location and fire correction. It is used to locate enemy guns, howitzers, mortars and rocket launchers as well as tracking the accuracy of friendly artillery, providing aiming correction based on impact error.
