YJ-9E Anti-ship Missile

The YJ-9E is an export-oriented, lightweight Anti-Ship Missile (ASM) designed for deployment on fast attack craft, patrol boats, and helicopters. It is a smaller, more compact missile that provides a punchy capability against small-to-medium-sized surface targets, allowing smaller naval vessels to effectively engage a wider range of threats in coastal and littoral environments.

The YJ-9E missile can be loaded on helicopter, fixed-wing aircraft, UAV, ground mobile station, small water surface ship or other platforms. Equipped with a modular homing system and warhead, it can be used to strike small water vessels, simple ground fortifications or armored vehicles.

The YJ-9 is a lightweight anti-ship missile (AShM) that can be used against fast attack boats and gunboats. It has a range of 15 km and can fly at a speed of 0.8 Mach weighing 105 kg.

The YJ-9 missile is available in three variants depending on the guidance including the YJ-9E (radar), YJ-9EA (TV), and YJ-9EB (semi-active laser). The latest version of the YJ-9 missile has been upgraded with a new datalink antenna.
