YJ-12 Anti-ship Missile

The YJ-12 is a large, high-speed supersonic Anti-Ship Cruise Missile (ASCM) with a very long range, typically carried by Chinese long-range bombers and large surface vessels. Its extremely high velocity (Mach 2-3) and terminal maneuvering capability make it one of the most difficult anti-ship threats to intercept, posing a serious threat to large, high-value naval assets like aircraft carriers and destroyers.

YJ-12 Anti-ship missile is a type of supersonic anti-ship missile equipped by the Chinese People’s Liberation Army. It is the first self-developed supersonic anti-ship missile equipped by China and one of the fourth-generation anti-ship missiles in China.
