VN1 8×8 Armored Personnel Carrier

The VN1 is the export-designated Armored Personnel Carrier (APC) variant of the modern ZBL-09 wheeled family. Built on a common 8×8 amphibious chassis, it offers high mobility on roads and the ability to swim. The APC version typically has lighter armament (like a 12.7mm machine gun) compared to the IFV model, focusing on carrying a large infantry squad (up to 10 troops) with modern protection and high operational range.

The VN1 armored personnel carrier is a wheeled armored vehicle designed and manufactured in China by the Company NORINCO (North Industries Corporation) for the international military market. The VN1 is based on an 8×8 chassis able to be fitted with weapon station up to 105mm cannon or 122mm howitzer.
