The special pontoon bridge is mainly used to erect floating bridges and structural pontoon craft in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River to ensure heavy equipment and vehicles overcome the obstacles of crossing the Yangtze River. It is suitable for rivers with a flow rate of 3 m/s, a water level change of 1 m and a wave height of 1.5 m.
