J-16 Multirole Fighter

The Shenyang J-16 is a heavy 4.5-generation, twin-engine, tandem-seat multirole strike fighter derived from the Su-27/J-11 family. Equipped with a powerful AESA radar and carrying a large weapons payload on 12 hardpoints, its primary role is long-range air superiority and deep strike/attack. The J-16 also features an Electronic Warfare (EW) variant, making it a critical asset for complex operations.

The Shenyang J-16 (Chinese: 歼-16) is a Chinese advanced fourth-generation,[3] tandem-seat, twinjet, multirole strike fighter developed from the Shenyang J-11 (itself derived from the Sukhoi Su-27) and built by Shenyang Aircraft Corporation. It is operated by the People’s Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF).
