The 10kW-class compact heavy oil piston engine is a spark-ignited, two-stroke, direct-injection heavy oil piston engine developed by the Beijing Power Machinery Research Institute. Featuring an inline two-cylinder configuration with an integrated air pump and starter-generator motor, it achieves a highly compact design with minimal frontal area, enhancing installation flexibility. Capable of in-flight starting, it employs lightweight air-assisted low-pressure fuel atomization technology and efficient rapid combustion organization techniques to ensure quick startup and stable combustion. The engine delivers excellent fuel economy, high power-to-weight ratio, and mature technology, making it suitable for various small fixed-wing UAVs while meeting fuel safety requirements.
